Sorry we cannot ship any container plants with soil into CA,AZ,OR, and WA. For these states all plants will be taken out of containers, the soil shaken off of the roots, and then roots dipped in water retention gel, then wrapped with moist medium and packaged to insure fresh and live delivery. Sorry for any inconvenience. Ships: one gallon trade size container

Barberry Sunjoy Gold Pillar Berberis thunbergii. The Sunjoy Gold Pillar berberis is the first upright golden barberry with red new growth, the Barberry Sunjoy Gold Pillar is burn resistant and is best in full sun. Barberry Sunjoy Gold Pillar 'Maria' pp#18,082 makes great garden architecture. Bright orange-red autumn foliage is stunning. Barberry Sunjoy Gold Pillar 'Maria' is proven to be burn resistant in side by side tests with other yellow leaved barberry.
As this is a new variety available in limited quantities, the Barberry Sunjoy Gold Pillar 'Maria' is likely to be in great demand, but we have it at Greenwood, at least while supplies last. Barberry Sunjoy Gold Pillar 'Maria' grows upright with no pruning from 3 - 4 feet in full sun. We recommend shearing after initial bloom in spring.
It is long blooming - Early Summer to frost with its heaviest bloom in spring then sporadically until frost. Use Barberry Sunjoy Gold Pillar 'Maria' for shrub borders, grouping, masses, or specimen plantings.
